Field reference
A glossary for the illustrative data shown in the public studies.
This reference describes example fields visible on the Typvs site. It is a reading aid, not an API schema. A field appearing here does not imply a public request or response format.
Drawing fields
| Field | Meaning in examples |
|---|---|
kind | The subject of an illustrative record, such as a contour, measures, or family. |
commands | An ordered list of drawing steps. |
op | A move, line, or curve operation inside an example. |
x, y | A point in the drawing's study coordinate space. |
c1, c2 | Control points used to describe a curve. |
Comparison fields
| Field | Meaning in examples |

specimen | The letters being compared, currently HOno. |
weights | The named light, regular, and bold comparisons. |
styles | Roman and Italic views in the study. |
baseline, xHeight, capHeight | Reference lines in study coordinates. |
